Physiotherapists must take into consideration any psychological, cultural or social factors that may influence the patient's treatment.
As all our physiotherapists are Chartered Physiotherapists, they are governed by the Rules of Professional Conduct laid down by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, all clients can be reassured that all are Registered with Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
We provide specialised physiotherapy treatment for children aged between 0 and 18 years that have difficulty with their physical development.
Treatment plans are individualised to suit your child's needs and a holistic treatment approach is used enabling each child or young person to develop their movement skills and maximise their physical potential resulting in greater independence in everyday life.
Techniques used include Bobath / neuro-developmental techniques (NDT), sensory integration, and exercise through play.
Appointments can be clinic, home or nursery/school based to suit your needs.
We work in partnership with local community NHS services complying with GIRFEC regulations. (Getting it right for every child).
